Hi,I'm Paula!I am from a beautiful little village called Doohoma in Northwest Mayo; overlooking Achill island. I am currently living and working in the Dublin and Wicklow area. I love being out in nature- walks/hikes, and I enjoy music and travelling. I have 15 years experience working as a mental health nurse across a variety of different settings. During this time, I completed a Postgraduate Diploma in relation to supporting people with Complex Behaviour. I provide teaching in this area and am very passionate about this work and the need to embrace a more trauma informed approach in healthcare.
I found myself booked into a Reiki session one day, having no clue at all about energy healing! I left that session and soon after felt an intense internal pull towards needing to learn more about it while not really understanding why. I completed Reiki Master training and started engaging in some personal Shamanic healing therapies. I was so amazed by the potential for profound healing through energy work that I then continued on to do a 2-year Shamanic training.
During this time, I also did some learning in Integrated Energy Therapy and I also completed an ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage and training in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Bodywork. My hope and aim is to be able to support people on their healing journeys in a more holistic way. Taking the knowledge I have gained from my years of clinical experience, and incorporating energy work and bodywork to improve health and maintain wellness.
I offer Reiki, Seichem, Shamanic Reiki, Shamanic Healing, Basic Integrated Energy Therapy, Holistic Massage and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Bodywork. I often utilise a variety of modalities in any one session depending on the needs of a client or from intuitive guidance.
I am dedicated to ongoing self development and continuing professional development. I currently practice in a number of healing spaces in Dublin, and Wicklow and I offer sessions on intermittent weekends in Spa Elysium in The Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Belmullet, Co. Mayo.
